How QuickTask works
QuickTask has two parts: the micro-task platform and the marketplace. Here is exactly what happens on each side.
For Workers (earn)
- 1Create a free Worker account.
- 2Browse available tasks and open one you can do.
- 3Complete the task exactly as instructed.
- 4Submit the proof the employer asked for.
- 5Employer reviews and approves your submission.
- 6Your reward is credited to your QuickTask balance.
- 7Request a withdrawal from ₦2,000 upwards.
For Employers (get tasks done)
- 1Create an Employer account with your business name.
- 2Fund your account (minimum deposit ₦5,000).
- 3Create a task: title, instructions, reward and workers needed.
- 4QuickTask holds the task funding plus a 10% platform fee.
- 5Workers complete the task and submit proof.
- 6You approve or reject each submission.
- 7The task closes automatically when your approvals are complete.
Marketplace (buy & sell / find services)
- 1Browse products and services, or search by category.
- 2Open a listing to see the price, location and provider.
- 3Confirm your order or booking — you'll see the price, the 10% QuickTask fee and your total before confirming.
- 4The seller or provider is notified in their dashboard.
- 5You both arrange delivery, pickup or the service appointment yourselves.
- 6Track the order status: pending, confirmed, completed or cancelled.
The two different 10% fees
Micro tasks: the employer pays 10% on top of the task funding. Workers are never charged.
Marketplace: the customer pays 10% on top of the listed price. The seller or service provider keeps their full listed price. Example: a ₦5,000 service costs the customer ₦5,500, and the provider's amount stays ₦5,000.
